grammar and vocabulary?

Hi Please tell me which conversation is correct ?

And which one is more common or better if all of them are correct.

Please let me know if you are a native English speaker.

A: What's the name of this animal?

B: It's a cat.

C: What's the name of this thing?

D: It's a football.

E: What's the name of this object?

F: It's a football.

    I think K and L would be the most likely, I am a native English speaker and I have taken honors English for 3 (going on 4) years. I'm currently only going to be a sophomore (second year) in high school, so you may not want to take my word for it, but from what I can see is that K and L would be the most common. For me, a normal response would probably be "A cat," or "A football," but in the circumstance of K, "It's a cat" feels the least awkward. Sorry for my wordy-ness xD.
