My SPAM file say's I've only used 74 of 500 blocked addresses - went to put one in and they say I'm at my limi?

Question

How can it say I have 426 block addresses LEFT (74 out of 500 used only) and it won't filter the latest request to block a SPAM address?

Trying to block or filter spam emails is a losing battle since the spammers can make small changes so their spam will evade your filters.  This leads to a never-ending cycle of you creating new filters every time a spam mail slips through.  You want to mark each email as spam so Yahoo's Spamguard will improve over time.  You can do this by right-clicking on the spam email and then left-clicking on the option "This is Spam".  Here's some articles on how to fight the good fight against spam.

If you feel the Yahoo spam filters aren't up to the task you can always try running your email through some external filters first
