Bunny Predicament....?

I have a total of 48 rabbits. They all range from 3weeks to 2.5 year old. I'm keeping two(2) bucks for breeding. Six(6) of them are my breeding does. And four or five(4-5) of the younger does will be kept as replacement does.

As for the rest of them, they will probably be attending camp freeze. What I would like to know is when should I start to butcher. When do you think is the best time to butcher for a bone to meat ratio. These are a mix of New Zealand, Flemish Giant, American Spotted, English spotted, and Californian.

I breed for mostly meat and coat coloration. Some of my up and coming litters will be sold as pets, though.

I suggest you sell them all as pets. You will get more money and it is nicer for the rabbits too.
