Battlefield Hardline question?

I plan to purchase bf hardline for my PS3, and everywhere I looked it said the game will support 32 players. Is this for next gen or last gen? Is it still not confirmed for ps3? Thanks.

    I think its confirmed for ps3, and generally old consoles will have 32 players on BF and next gen and pc will have 64

    BF4 only had 24 players on ps3 so idk
