Well, it's a done deal, so it doesn't matter what we think.
Anyway, for the record:
– Felix is a recognizable name, easy to spell and pronounce. So what if it reminds people of Felix the Cat?
– Lonnie sounds like a unisex name, although I knew a guy named Lonnie about fifty years ago.
– Caelan is a tough name to spell and pronounce. Those Celtic names can be a problem.
– Caspar was a saint's name, I think. Nowadays he's the "friendly ghost".
Having an unusual but recognizable first name myself, I can at last appreciate it. People can remember it, because it brings up associations in their minds.

Felix is a guilty pleasure name of mine, but I know it will always be equated with "Felix the Cat".
Lonnie is okay, but not my favorite. I see it as a nickname, but not sure what for. Maybe Leonardo? I don't know.
Caelan makes me think of the feminine make Kaylyn (or any other spelling equivalent)
Caspar is another guilty pleasure of mine, because you'll constantly here "Casper the Friendly Ghost" (even with the difference in spelling). Even so, I love the name.
