why cant we vote for best answers for extra points anymore.Is there another way to make xtra points another way?

Recently Yahoo made some changes, now only the asker can choose best answer to their questions Yahoo eliminated voting best answer on other member's questions, check the link.There is no longer a fast way to earn points other than asking your daily maximum, and always returning to choose best answer to your question to pick up the 3 points of the 5 it cost you to ask. .

Community voting was eliminated a few months ago. It was, unfortunately, an abused feature of the site.

Only the asker of a question can choose a Best Answer now. Most don't bother, so an awful lot of questions are just sitting out there with no Best Answer.

You can still answer questions for 2 points each (160 answers per day at Level 7) and surely you will receive some Best Answers (10 points each, plus 1 point for any thumbs-up on that answer) along the way. But no ... no easy way to earn extra points anymore.

The voting feature was removed about 2 months back. There were many users with BA rates over 85 to 90%. They were largely the product of "BA chosen by voter"

And always minimum of 4 votes even when there were 20 answers or more. It became so bad that they started using symbols and strange characters as their signatures so their buddies could help them win the vote

For users like me who had a poor or low BA rate, we made it through the shear dint of numbers -- answering lots and lots of questions to keep up pace with 85 to 90% BA users (and also voting for lots and lots of questions which we never answered and there too our votes went waste because another vote cheater ended up winning BA) but we never complained and accepted such system

So the vote was removed eventually. However the askers failed the community by not doing their part after vote ended (no interest in choosing BA at all).

Therefore no easy way is left now. All you can do is answer as many as you can or your full limit (you must address the question and post no non answer even if you do your full 160 limit or you risk being charged as point gamer) to get points.

No other way

If you want to get more points just answer more questions within reason
