piercing pain help?

im not going to lie, having you ears pieced does hurt, but not a lot honest...i had mine done not long ago and was really nervous, but it was only like a sharp prick then nothing, a little later i had a burning sensation but it was mild. before i had mine done, my friend said, pinch your ear lobe between your thumb and first finger, but press your nail into you ear lobe, this was a really good way that she described the type of pain...on a scale of 1-10 i would say about a 2/3, very mild. hope this helps.

For me, I would have to say a 3... but I have super sensitive ears, they sunburn easily, I always get earaches, my ears get clogged up super easy, etc. but on average it would be a 2 or a 1.
