did I get friend zoned?
I met this girl and we have been talking and texting a lot since we met. She always replies with long texts as well. When she falls asleep she apologizes the next morning for knocking out.
Well I asked her out to catch a movie this weekend. She said she was interested in going. An hour ago I asked her if she was still willing to go, but now says she's going with her friend tonight and that I should go since her "friend is single ;]" wtf? Did she just say she isnt interested and friend zoned me?
Sure she never really said shed go with me, but it still upsets me
I asked her if she was trying to hook me up with her friend and if so why? She replies and says "lol idk no reason I'm just saying". I have no idea what is going on :/

Ummm, to me it just seems like she's trying to find out how you feel about her and if you see her as a friend or more. She's going about it in an immature way, and girls like that play a lot of silly mind games that can't really be explained. Why is she doing it? For a reaction. Any sort of reaction. I would know because I used to do it till I grew out of it. Some females have a funny way of thinking, personally I would say that you don't need to be involved with immature girls that will play with your feelings, but I don't know the situation as well as you so give her the benefit of the doubt and let this slide, just be cool about it and say "nah I wouldn't be into that, I don't need to be set up I have my options haha"
I don't think she's friend zoned you though, no girl really invests time in a guy and sends him all these long texts and says she's interested in seeing a movie with you if she doesn't see you in that way.

I think that you should just be upfront about it. Just tell her in person, that you like her and asked her out to the cinema. Ask her if she wants to go out on a date with you, and if she doesn't want to, don't make it awkward for either of you. Just smile and say "ok no problem" and tell her you'll see her later. If you do this, it'll show her that you're not really bothered and that you're still friends and she hasn't done anything wrong.
Besides, if you keep this attitude odds are she may want you, since you're not showing any interest anymore. It'll make her think that she was maybe just a small crush or something and now that you're over her, she'll want you to feel the same way again so she might ask you out or try and flirt with or make you jealous.
The point is, play it cool. Tell her you like her. If she doesn't feel the same, just tell her no hard feelings. Stay her friend but don't do anything that shows you like her anymore. She'll do the rest. If she doesn't,move on.

Yikes... maybe she didn't get the signals that you were interested (idk how she couldn't when you asked her out to a movie). Or maybe she's trying to let you down easy so it wouldn't be awkward. She's stupid.
