Why are more Americans travelling and relocating over seas and what are the top countries for Expats and why?

I moved to Italy and lived there almost 14 years because the company I worked for asked me to. It was also a great opportunity to be immersed in a different culture and learn from the experience. It gave me the opportunity to get out and explore Italy and the rest of Europe in greater depth and less expense that I could on my own. Travel is one of my favorite things. In my experience, there are interesting things to see & do, good foods to try and nice people just about everywhere you might go. It's very difficult to move to another country legally; I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity and the support of the company I worked for.

Because the US is ~$17 trillion in debt and those who realizing our country is falling apart are getting out before SHTF.

The top countries include Panama, Uruguay, and the EU because of the ease of immigration and better qualities of life.

Meanwhile I'm going to New Zealand which is a bit harder but still relatively easy since I speak English and will be college educated.
