Because it looks a lot worse on the news for women prisoners to be mistreated than for men. See the media surrounding Jessica Lynch if you don't believe me.

To frame it in Operational Risk Management terms, risk has two elements: probability (the likelihood of something happening) and severity (the negative impact of it happening). While you can argue the probability of males being raped may be the same as POWs (I wouldn't try and make that argument, but hey, you never know. Maybe it's Thursday in Afghanistan), the severity of it is worse. Thus, yes, there is a higher risk of women being raped than of men, due to the impact to the mission it would incur.

Women are in combat positions, several were killed and Injured in Iraq and Afghanistan, when or if this poser in the White house ever orders air strike some of the air assets will be piloted by women.

The very concept that women are the " weaker " gender was probably started by women. And, men are so damned stupid, we actually believed them.
