1) for the function y=a*b^x, where a>0 and 0<b<1, b is the....?

2) on the first swing, a pendulum swings through an arc of length 65 cm. On the successive swing, the length of the arc is 85% of the length of the previous swing. Write a rule to model this situation.

    1) decay factor b/c it is smaller than one.

    2) y = 65(0.85)^(x-1) where x is the number of swings and y is the arc length.
