NVIDIA CUDA Vs. NVENC Which is better?
Im using bandicam with x264 codec NVIDIA CUDA and NVENC, the question is which is more reliable and efficient. What is NVENC? I've never heard of NVENC, is this new from NVIDIA for Hardware Accelerating Video Recording and encoding??

I think NVENC is newer. Try them both and see which one gives you better results.

Both are Nvidia specific codecs. Cuda uses the usual Gpu hardware to encode Video, so you would use a graphic card instead of a general purpose processor, such as your Cpu. Nvenc is a dedicated part of your Gpu that only exists to encode video, so if you don't use Nvenc it remains idle, because it cannot be used for anything else than record video.
Because it's 'hardcoded' there are fewer options in Nvenc however it does not consume processing from neither Cpu or Gpu; it only uses, of course, memory and bandwidth but that is the bare minimum and is always necessary.
