Why do conservatives always try to defy conventional wisdom and common sense in favor of business or religion?
97% of people that study the Earth and its climate for a living say we need to reduce carbon emissions? Then I guess we should reduce carbon emissions and clean up the mess we made.
Business excuse: Carbon taxes hurt business, the economy, and the job creators!
Religious excuse: God didn’t talk about it in the bible so it can’t happen!
Gay people want the rights of everyone else? Then I guess we should treat them like non-gay people.
Business excuse: Gays are icky, distracting to customers and employees, and bad for the business image and thus the wealth of the job creators!
Religious excuse: Leviticus 20:13!
Women and minority groups were oppressed for centuries? I guess we should acknowledge that and empathize with them.
Business excuse: Mandating the treatment of women and minorities with respect costs too much for job creators!
Religious excuse: Bible says slavery and misogyny are necessary for a stable society!
We have plenty of food, medicine, housing, and energy yet there are masses of people that do not have access to it? I guess we should give them some of that so they don’t have to suffer their whole lives.
Business excuse: Giving away wealth is taking from the job creators!
Religious excuse: Bible said stealing is always wrong!

Probably a nearly same percentage of Scientists said Fat was not good for your diet and on and off for years about weather Orange Juice is good for your health. Lawyers are having a field day with class action suits against scientific inventions that cause more harm than good when applied to the Human body. Last heard from the Scientists is that Cow Farts and trees (giving off Smog) are tremendous donators of unhealthy air. For 15 years it was called Global Warming, now it's Climate Change. I see it as just another way of Liberals (specifically Democrats) of inventing another way to draw more taxes into their coffers. Then they'll take that money and double down and create some other major catastrophe that will require some other new tax plan.

I saw no source on any of that.
Every Study I've seen says the earth's temuture has remained the same for 20 years.
"Also Bible says slavery and misogyny are necessary for a stable society". I'm christian. I don't recall that anywhere in the bible if someone can point out where it says that I'd love to debate it with you sometime.

Start with looking up your 97 comment. its not 97% of all scientist that are in the climate field its 97% of scientist that answered an online survey that has been exposed to be bias that you hold as gospel.
The ironic part is you don't see their is big business in pushing the climate change agenda.

Common sense tells me that the world has been going through climate change for millions of years. Liberals blow being gay way out of proportion. Everything you said has no factual base.
