-For portfolios, is there a difference with what photo shoot/ headshots you get depending on if you're going into acting or modeling? Do you have to have different pictures for an acting portfolio than for a modeling portfolio? Absolutely. An actor just need a single headshot. Models need headshots and full body shots, but the style of the headshot is completely different. Just look at any dry cleaners in LA where they have pictures of actors headshots - they do not look like a fashion shoot in a magazine which is what a model's headshot looks like. An actor doesn't need a portfolio, just a good headshot

-In any agency, do they give you both jobs for runways/catwalks and photoshoots like for commercial/magazine/online models? It depends on the agency. A big agency like Ford or Elite books both high fashion and commercial work. You just have to look on the agency website to see if they have a Commercial division or not
