Especially if they have kids. Am I a prude for thinking they should take their time? What's wrong with spending time alone to regroup? I'm wondering am I being old fashion although I'm not old. ; )

Desperate. Probably.
I mean, they could have had an awful life and just feel the need to feel loved so that's no problem (as the saying goes: you don't know me, you don't know my story, you don't know how much milk I like in my cereal) or as I said before- they're just desperate
