Is this a sign of attraction?

I had a waiter at this restaurant and he kept smiling at me even when he wasn't at our table and when he came back with a refill he asked me how old I was and when I told him he said "We hire 16 year olds. You should come work here we get really busy and we need more servers" and I said "Okay I will think about it". When we were checking out, he made a funny face at me and gave me an application. I ended up losing the application so I had to go back up there and get a new one a couple weeks later. I filled it out there so I wouldn't lose it this time. He was there and I felt as if he didn't remember me. I smiled at him and he just said "How are you doing?' and I said "good", but that's all we said to each other. When I was leaving, we smiled at each other the whole time I walked back to my car. Since I didn't break eye contact while walking back I figured he thinks I am weird. I just can't tell if this is a sign of attraction or not. Thanks!
