What is the best car for a small person?
I am 4'10". Every car I have driven I have to put the seat all the way forward, all the way up and sit on a pillow and some cars have one for my back.. It is time to go car shopping. Sadly my old friend is dieing. Please no jokes, I need a car that I can drive safely, but I am tired of looking like a kid.

The Subaru Forester seems to work for people I know of smaller stature. Go to a few showrooms and just tell the salesperson on duty you want to sit in a car to try its size first.

Volkswagens are surprisingly roomy. I'm 6'3 and drove a bug once. I couldn't even put the seat all the way back. Same with a Jetta I had.
That being said, what does your friend dying have ANYTHING to do with cars? Really though, nothing you buy is going to be designed for midgets. Cars are designed for average people in mind. Some are smaller, some are larger, but very few would be designed for people less than 5 feet tall. They wouldn't sell enough to make it worth it.

I have an odd suggestion, see if you can find a car where you can install a taller seat or spacers to raise the seat to a better height for you.
Then you can restore the seat to the factory if you ever plan to sell the car in the future.
