Is it okay for puppies to be on grass?
Like to potty train them and stuff, or just to give them some air?

Fine, as long as there grass isn't so long that its producing seeds. Grass seeds get into paws, and even worse they can get into eyes... and whilst its easy to get grass seeds out of paws with little suffering on the pup... it is not as easy with one in the eye. My younger lab got a grass seed in his eye when he was 10 weeks old... and it meant an emergency trip to the vet. Luckily we managed to keep him calm enough he didn't need to be sedated - so he was spared a overnight stay, but it was still traumatic for him.
And if pups are outside, make sure that they are either supervised at ALL times or that they have a safe area that they cannot get out of, but mum can get into easily.
Both my puppies when they were with the breeder spent most of the day outside as long as the weather was nice.

As long as the grassed area is contained so no other dogs can get in there, fine. In fact getting some sun on their backs, within reason, is excellent for puppies. We used to put ours out in an ex-pen on the warmer days for an hour or so. But watch them so they don't get into mischief/danger out there.
Good thought about the length of grass too. Having experienced the result of a seed getting in the mouth (of an older dog) and eventually out under the ear .............
I'd not leave them out in the full sun for too long either - provide some shade. And not until the puppies are about 6 weeks on either.

When I was breeding, my pups were outside learning about different walking surfaces from the time they could stand up. Little pups don't normally try to stray, but unless you have policed your yard well, make sure you keep them where you can see them all the time.
You can't use flea topicals on very young pups, but if other dogs don't come into your yard, it should be perfectly safe for the pups.

Yes, as long as its on your own secure private property and not in a public place where people and other dogs walk.
Like others have said...
Not in long grass though as seeds from the grass may get in their ears, nose and eyes.

Yes, but be careful of fleas, make sure your dog has some type of flea medication. Also if other dog have been there be sure your dog has had it's shots.
