Fallout, Mass Effect, or Bioshock?

You can't go wrong with any of those. Fallout 3 has a few similarities to Skyrim that come from being made by the same developer on both. Fallout 3 is a better starting point for the series, if you like it New Vegas comes after.

Mass Effect is a third-person RPG where the choices you make affect how the story turns out. The first game is the best starting point and the series continues from there. BioShock is a first-person shooter but you also have abilities called "Plasmids" which add more variety, including freezing enemies or stunning them.

Well i've played Fallout the most by a long shot and it's my personal favorite out of the three.

Fallout is a very long RPG with a huge game map. You can go any where you want and do side missions or explore random places and loot for weapons, ammo and money.

I would say get Fallout 3 over New Vegas for a bunch of reasons that I won't go into right now.

Bioshock is also really good, but it's pretty much a linear set of tasks. Which isn't bad, but it's nothing like Fallout. It's basically a first person shooter with some added elements.

Either get Bioshock 1 or Infinite. I personally like 1 better.

Never played Mass Effect so i'm not gonna comment on it.

best way to describe fallout 3 and nv is as a post apocalyptic skyrim with ranged weapons ( there are melee weapons too )

I would get either of the fallout games,both worth playing.the fallout games are shooter/rpg and have a bunch of different weapons.there is lots to do and see in either of them.i would suggest goty versions so you get all the dlc with them.i loved them both so much I have them on ps3 and xbox 360.

Oki trying not to sound like a fanboy but there's no competition at all mass effect all the way.

Fallout is ok nothing special u played one you have played them all, story is forgettable and mechanics are laughable. The only reason it's loved is because of the amount of freedom and mods that can be used to actually make the game playable.

Bioshock is ok I personally don't like Bioshock one and two, though I will say infinite is amazing after finishing the game I couldn't stop thinking about the ending.

Mass effect sets out to tell a story of how unlikely allies band together to stop a threat. I mean it makes millions cry when something happens to a character bioware make the best games and mass effect is by far their best.

I have them all for the 360 and fallout for PC I will guarantee no one up it I promise mass effect is the better game I didn't believe it at first but now nothing compares, the best game I have ever played.
