Sun Cancer, Taurus moon, leo mars and Venus mean aggressive?

I'm kinda seeing a guy with these placements and we've hit a rough patch. A guy at work was harassing me and the cancer guy got mad because I wouldn't let him protect me and got pretty aggressive about wanting to get to the guy. I told him I didn't want him to get hurt plus I'm a passive person. So he took this as me not thinking highly of him and that I saw him as weak.

Not what I intended so he cut me out and said he's done. Told me to get lost pretty much and accused me of liking the other guy. The next day I sent him a long text about my feelings on what we could have been, what he had meant to me and how I felt like he wasted my time if he was going to be like this.

He texts back I do want you but you won't let me protect you and I care more about you than just friends.

Is he going to be aggressive and prideful when it comes to opinions on him all the time?

I thought cancers were sweet and shy does the fire in his chart make him different?
