Should I have not said that?

This girl I'm friends with just blocked me from Facebook and instagram. She's a teen mom with two kids and just got her first job and she posted a pic on instagram of the expensive makeup she just got. So I light heartedly commented saying she should save money for her kids college fund. Then hours later she blocks me. Was saying that a wrong move?????

A teen Mom is really on concerned about herself. It probably would have been best to not say anything to her because it's not going to change her. Her kids college is the last thing on her mind. Of course you are right though that she should think of her kids now and not her. She won't. Anyway if you want her back in her life just apologize and say you were just joking.

She worked really hard for that treat for herself and you certainly did call her to the carpet on it. How she spends her money is her business, teen mom or not.

She's very shallow. You were right in what you said, but she felt like you were scolding her for buying the makeup (which you were, justifiably).
