why use a red rubber ball for kickball?
We had 2000 students in the 80s', and we always used a soccer ball when playing. I NEVER ever seen anyone using a red rubber ball to play, it made absolutely no sense. Please explain to me why a sport would use a red rubber ball if its only going to wooble and worp on the first kick? Besides a soccer ball is meant for kicking and goes further.

We always used red rubber balls instead of soccer balls. Yes, they don't go as far, but having to retrieve them from the neighborhood yards wasn't always easy (dogs and pools)
They are easier to catch and less expensive.
