Guys is it okay for the girl to text first?
I've texted this guy twice and we had a conversation once but it's been five days since we talked and I don't know if texting him is annoying to him or not. Should I text him?

My guess is Boring Texts. I would say your problem is in boring responses. Work on creative come backs and replies. Even questions or ice breakers. Most people have nothing interesting to say or ask, so they are avoided because the other person is already bored. Think of Fun Questions to ask, like: "I'm curios to know... Are you better looking today, than you were yesterday?", Funny Stories to tell like: "The other day, I saw this rock, that made me think of a song, that made me think of you and then... call me. I'll tell you rest." Nice Compliments to give like: "Every time I see dark hair, it reminds me of yours. I think dark hair would better if... Oops, I got carried away."
Even if you think its stupid, the attempt could make a difference to the other person and make them happy that someone is thinking of them. Even if they get the message later, the effect is still in the words. If someone texted you a message that made you feel good, wouldn't you respond, even if it was a day later.
Smiles Break the Ice to conversations, Conversations hold peoples interest and attention, Compliments get them to stick around. Smiles, Conversation and Compliments make people want YOUR COMPANY.
