How expensive is tourism in Chicago?

    Every museum has free days during th week. There are planty of reasonable restaurants. I would say if you plan ahead, it can be affordable. Chicago cn also be expensive if you're not careful. Go to choosechicago.com, or chicago like a local.

    In general, hotels and restaurants downtown are expensive, and sales taxes are also higher in the downtown area.
