I got angry with my friend. Was I justified?

I'm angry at a friend, so they went to another mutual friend and got them to text me about various issues they have with me. Pretty much told this mutual friend to piss off, and that I'm not in high school anymore, and if this person wants to message me they should do so themselves. I told them not to get involved in this issue, and it's none of their business. Was I justified? Should I apologise or let them come to me?

Maybe your anger towards this mutual friend was a little unjustified. She (or he?) was just being helpful and basically an innocent messenger. Maybe you can take time to apologise to this mutual friend? Now I'm not exactly sure what happened between you and your pals, but staying angry for an extended period of time is not going to do you any good. Unless it's truly a deep and tragic betrayal, I suggest you let bygones be bygones. Don't let your temper get in the way of your human relationships. They're beautiful important things, and are far more worth it than your pride. I suggest you talk to your friends and explain to them why you're upset. Hope this helps
