with all these single parent families it would be the same thing to have to be raised by two moms or two dads.

Maybe, but not better than a child in foster home for the next 18 years of it's life. Also, i honestly don't think it matters in today's world.

If the 2 parents love the child dearly, it won't matter the genders of the parent. M&f. F&f. M&m. All a child wants is to know that there parents love them.

And here's something to think about. Homophobes were raised by a mother and father. Kids raised by gay parents don't turn into homophobes.
