Some people look a little different in person. The guy I'm seeing is like that. She was probably joking. Her sense of humor may just be a little harsh, if it bothers you, talk go her about it

sometimes the truth hurts. you didn't like yourself when you were fat and neither does she. i understand how you can be sensitive about your weight. you should appreciate her honesty. she may be shallow but at least she is straightforward about it and that is a very redeeming quality.
