I haven't worn my retainer for 4 nights, will my teeth shift?

I had braces for 2 years and I have broken my top retainer, I am really paranoid that my my teeth have shifted.I am going to try and get an orthodontic appointment tomorrow or the day after but please will someone tell tell me of my teeth will move a lot or not!Thanksx

    Your teeth WILL move. But only a little bit. I didn't wear my retainer for a week after I had just gotten my braces off because silly me did exactly what the orthodontist said not to do (put it in a napkin at a restaurant, left without it) and when I received my next set of retainers it was just a little tight for a couple days so don't worry, your teeth will go back to the way the braces made them, straight!

    It shouldn't move at all. Just get the replacement quick cause if not then it will start shifting.
