i chose a PS4 over the Xbox One. Did I make the right choice?

I just bought a PS4 a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoy playing NBA 2K14 and watching Netflix on it. I just rented Infamous Second Son, and it's kind of boring to me. Is there anything else the PS4 has to offer? I previously owned a Xbox 360, and I'm really going to miss the Gears of War And Halo series. I feel like I'll be missing out when Halo: Master Chief Collection comes out.

People say that the PS4 is the superior console, but I don't see how. They're really aren't any good games on it right now.

Yes u did make the right choice just give the PS4 some time to get some games the ps3 started off slow but look at it now it has the most exclusives out of the Xbox 360 and wii wait till Uncharted and the Last of Us come out I though Infamous Second Son was a let down too the first two were way better same goes for KillZone Shadow Fall the 2nd KillZone was awesome Shadow Fall was meh u missed out on a ton of really good games last gen that were only on the PS3

Consoles ultimately come down to preference. I bought a PS4 because I love PS exclusives like Uncharted, Sly Cooper, inFamous, etc., but if you like the Xbox exclusives like GoW and Halo, then you should buy an Xbox. The 2 consoles are so similar that you really have to just decide which games appeal to you more.

Sure. New consoles are always slow to get started and multiplatform games run better on PS4. One game that you weren't keen on doesn't necessarily mean you won't have a good time with future PS4 games.

There is a wonderful lineup coming to both systems. I have a PS4 and my friend has an Xbox One. It comes down to personal preference, so look into the upcoming games for both systems and decide what you think.

Yes you did just give this generation some time, like every generation the launch games suck and it's not till the next year that there's a lot of good games

Never listen to people when they say a console is superior. The purchase of a console should always be determined by the game titles, preference and community. I have an Xbox One but want a PS4 mainly because sony releases more anime related games than xbox but xbox has titles like you said Halo and Gears and I really love those also. My overall deciding factor was that I had more friends on xbox and playing ps4 alone wouldn't be fun at all. The games are lacking on both consoles but there is a lot to look forward for later on this year with tons of good games being released.

Personally I have friends that have Xbox One and PS4 but from what I heard Xbox One has more to offer much more than PS4. Xbox One is amazing but it depends on your taste. They both are new so not many games won't be on both so be patient :)

PS4 is still new so games are still being processed. Coming on yahoo answers also isn't the best idea. People constantly fight over whether PS4 or Xbox is better. It all depends on your taste. I say give it a chance and see what games are soon to come.

    Hope I helped!
