Cancer says we need to talk, should I be worried?

This cancer guy 7-7-1991 and I 3-11-1991 are fwbs for the last 2 months. He has made it clear he has caught feelings but wants to take it slow. I am not a patient person and flipped out trying to push him away. He fought it at first then accepted it. I changed my mind after a week and have been trying to get him back as a friend.

When I asked him if he could be my friend he said he liked me for a relationship and does not want me as a friend. He seems still hurt but has been texting asking about my health and what I'm doing. In our fight he said it was a waste of gas to see me last time. But he told me today we need to talk.

I told him i was worried because when ppl say that it usually ends up being bad news. He told me well this is not bad what I have to say.

What do you think he needs to talk about?
