Black Ops 2 Zombies continually disconnects from Steam.?

I bought Black Ops 2 about the time Ghosts came out and I really enjoy the game but I have been having some problems. While I play Zombies with friends or online I will get disconnected at around round 10-16 or if I play a second game. I rarely have a problem with Black Ops 2 Multiplayer disconnecting me and I've never had a problem with anything on Ghosts.

What it does is show me the sign that you have lost connection in the middle of the screen, then I will wait a little bit and it will kick me from the game. When I try to rejoin quick it says i can't because I have to be connected to Steam servers to play. I will then exit the game and I can see Steam is offline but right when i exit the game it goes back online.

My computer is not the problem

GPU R9 280X Black Edition

CPU i5 quad core overclocked to 4.3Ghz

Motherboard EVGA Z68 FTW

SSD Samsung 128GB

HDD WD Green 2TB

RAM Corsair Dominator 1866Mhz 8GB

PSU 1000W semi-modular OCZ 80+ Gold

My internet isn't the problem I got a new dual band router, and my speed test is 3.72 upload and 32.36 download, and I am direct wired

I have other people who will play on my internet and they won't have near as many problems as I do.

I have searched everywhere online for a solution and there are a lot of people with the same problem as I, and they are all saying it is a problem with Steam trying to switch servers and dropping me, I have found others that say to forward my port.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Update:

It was a faulty ethernet wire.

Port forwarding will not make a difference, because if that were the problem you would not be able to play at all. Your gaming rig is more than sufficient, so you are right, that is not the problem. I used to run into this very same problem back when I used to play Zombies on my Xbox 360, disconnecting randomly. The solution for me was getting a new router. Even though you are directly wired to your router, sometimes it glitches out and kicks you off for a span of 5-10 seconds, which is enough to disconnect you.

After getting a new router for ~60$, I never ran into disconnecting problems again. Sorry for the inconvenience but it might be time, especially if your router is starting to get old.

Edit: I just saw you got a new router. Hmm, that might be the problem. If your old one worked fine, it might be that your new router is faulty. This definitely sounds like a problem with the router.
