I dont know what to do. Please help!?

My moms work is opening a new plant in Arizona and she wants to go and me to go with her. Because I will be having my baby only six months before the move and she doesn't want to be so far away from her new and first grandchild. But I really don't want to move all the way from Ohio to Arizona, not to mention the fact that the father of my child wont be able to move to Arizona with me because he would be to far away from his son. Moving to Arizona scares me too mainly because of all of the snakes, spiders, and scorpions that would be there around my new curious baby, I'm scared of him getting hurt. I just don't know how to tell my mom I don't want to move there with her without hurting her feelings (also she's not the most understanding of people an I don't want to start a fight with her.)

Well, I can only suggest you do what 'you' feel is right.

As for the critters, you won't have any problems, especially in an urban environment.

Consider, millions of people live in Arizona, many raise families, so if the bugs were such a problem, people wouldn't live there.

I lived near Prescott a couple years, and the only things I saw were a few tarantulas and an occasional black widow if I looked for them. Only saw one scorpion on the patio, and no snakes.

This was in a rural area, so don't worry about the animals.
