Are goats friends with horses?
My Appaloosa mare has lived with my sisters gelding for 7 years, but he is "moving out" as my sister sold him. My mare needs a companion animal. Period. She is nuts without one. I was just wondering of goats were a good match, in your experience, or i need to keep looking. Also, is Electobraid livestock fencing suitable for a goat?

Many thoroughbred race horses have goats as stablemates. They get along very well.

Yes. My horse has always gotten along with the goats and when they have kids (baby goats) the horse is very careful not to step on them.
