Can you help with my wifi IP camera, security camera?
I bought a P2P IP Camera from ebay (China), and the instructions are terrible. I plugged it directly into my router and the software discovers it from my laptop (so I assume the wifi is working). It automatically populates the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS1, DNS2, Port, ID, Name. I press set (on their sowtware it says 'setting') and it says 'setting ok'. Then I try to go to the IP address to login as the admin but my browser will not let me open it (page cannot be found). I have tried with Chrome and IE. The instructions are terrible and it seems like they're missing a step. Can someone help who has done this before? Rather than an answer here, can you give personal help? I would be willing to pay $10 (paypal I suppose). Please help, I really don't want to return this to China... My email is pat.vack@patvack.com
Thanks,
Pat

what is your IP address and subnet mask
what is the IP address and subnet mask that it populates the camera with?

I am guessing your wifi is not letting you on that subnet. You are on a different subnet then the camera. Try plugging your laptop directly into the router by Ethernet cable and see if you have different results.
