I know Franck Ribery was supposed but was injured.

Hugo Lloris, Bacary Sagna, Patrice Evra, Mathieu Valbuena.
So 4 players. Suppose to be 6, Ribery is one you mentioned and the other is Mandanda but both are injured.
Players like Toulalan and Clichy deserved to be in the squad in my opinion anyways. France are stacked with talents so didn't need to try and convince Toulalan out of retirement and Clichy is a better option in the LB position than Digne, but maybe Deschamps called up Digne to gain experience.
