Which side does it mean for a guy if he is gay with pierced ears?

I phrased the title wrong. What I mean is left or right ear that gets pierced if a guy is gay and all that.

    Left was straight, right was gay ... But now with all the homosexuality stuff going on it doesn't seem to matter anymore..

    At one time it was right ear, then it was left, these days it doesn't matter.
