- ?Lv 47 years agoIngredients: 1/2 cup olive oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice 3 tablespoons tarragon vinegar 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 2 teaspoons dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 cup black olives, chopped 1 cup mushrooms, chopped 1 (1 pound) loaf round, crusty Italian bread 1/2 pound sliced deli turkey meat 1/2 pound sliced ham 1/4 pound sliced salami 1/2 pound sliced mozzarella cheese 6 leaves lettuce 1 tomato, sliced Directions In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar and garlic. Season with parsley, oregano and pepper. stir in olives and mushrooms. Set aside. Cut the off top half of the bread. Scoop out the inside, and leave a 1/2 inch outside wall. Spoon 2/3 of the olive mixture into the bottom. Layer with turkey, ham, salami, mozzarella, lettuce and tomato. Pour remaining olive mixture on top, and replace the top half of bread. Wrap securely in plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. 
- VirginiaLv 47 years agoMayo or mustard; Tomatoes; Onions are good on a sandwich too; Cheese. Have you thought about canned tuna or salmon? I add mayo and sometimes a little bit of sweet relish. My favorites are the shaved meats that come in plastic boxes. You can get all types of meats. 
- 7 years agoIngredients: 1/4 lb Thinly sliced turkey 1 Sweet Maui Onion 1 Dill Havarti Cheese 1 Heirloom Tomato 2 Cloves of Garlic 1 Stalk of Green Onion 1/2 cup of Cream Cheese 1 Tablespoon of Greek Yogurt 1 Everything Bagel 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil Directions: Garlic and Cream Cheese Spread: The secret to making your own flavoured "spread" is that you need something to make the cream cheese slightly less thick and slightly less viscous. In this case, I use Skyr, some Greek Yogurt will do. Finely chop 1 clove of garlic, and 1 stalk of green onion. Add it to 1/2 cup of cream cheese, and add in a tablespoon of Greek Yogurt. Mix wildly. Let it sit for about twenty minutes at room temp. Do this first. I put in 2 cloves and 2 stalks of green onions, because I like it spicy. Tastes great, but be warned, your breath will smell. Worth it though. Turkey & Onions: Get a sweet onion, thinly slice it cross-sectioned. Heat a Sauté pan; medium heat. Put in 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil. When the pan is hot, throw in the onions, and lightly toss. Reduce heat to low, and stir occasionally until onions are caramelized. (About 30 minutes) Remove onions from pan, toss in some thinly sliced turkey and move it around. Turn off the heat and remove the turkey. With a very sharp knife: Slice your heirloom tomato about 1/4" thick. Slice your dill Havarti cheese about 1/8" thick. Slice your everything bagel in half; and toast them. The logical order would be: Top Bun Garlic and Onion Spread Tomato Havarti Cheese Sautéed and Reduced Sweet Maui Onion Turkey Bottom Bun 
- 7 years agoHere's something I make ALL the time: Romaine Lettuce Mustard mayo (a little bit of stone ground mustard, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, mayo, salt, pepper) Roast Beef Pepper Jack Cheese/Cheddar Cheese This is absolutely delicious. Sausage, egg, and cheese make crazy good breakfast sandwiches. Something for lunch you could try is: A buttered bagel, cheese, turkey, bacon, with a little bit of honey mustard (2 tablespoons honey, 3 tablespoons favorite type of mustard). Hope this helps!
