Why dont my headphones pair with my laptop?

I have a pair of Photive BTH3 headphones.

They seem to pair with my mobile fine however they don't want to pair with my laptop at times. If I pair them via Bluetooth and then start playing some media (ITunes, Youtube) either the website will crash or ITunes just wont play the song.

However If I play the media and then pair while a song/video is playing they will work then.

Why is this? How can I fix this?

    Your computer likely has a problematic plug hole. Those do not look replaceable. Either you will have to replace the whole computer or check for firmware updates.
