Want to move more into the bay than Suisun City, CA what areas should we consider that aren't ghetto and around $1,000-$1,400 a month rent?
My girlfriend and I want to move out of Suisun City, California it's too far north Bay and want to move into the bay a little more. We're in the $1000-$1400 a month rent area we were thinking (non little Mexico) Concord, Benicia, Martinez. I work in Pleasanton, CA and can't afford anything around there. Even at $50k a year. Any other areas that aren't as ghetto as Pittsburg or Richmond we should consider?

Dublin is pretty cheap. Lots of low income people there, but not really ghetto.
Martinez is scary, don't move there. Fremont isn't too bad either and not a far commute to Pleasanton.
