Are you happy now? Living at home?

Question

All you recent college graduates, are you happy now? How is it in your parents basement? Did you look to see how may jobs there were in your major before selecting it? If not why not? Do you fell you suffer from a "bad" economy?

Do you feel you made the correct choices? Do you ever think you should have chosen another major and/or voted another way? Did you get the economy you thought you were voted for?

Please answer any and all questions, the world would like know know the answers.

My daughter had a job lined up 3 months before she  even graduated. Not only does she not live in my home, she's buying her own.

Single family homes prices are still expensive. Plus, if you have a single family home, you would need a car. Gas is expensive and unsustainable. With the poor standards of USA public transit, you could be trapped in an area with lack of opportunities and growth.

These are the reasons why car usage among millennials are declining and more young people prefer the cities and apartments to be closer to urban economy.

I'm only 2 out of 7 years done with college (I'm going to go for a masters next) but I sure I hope I can have something lined up though.

I'm not a recent college grad, but the one I know got a job right out... and that's much better than things were 6 years ago when almost no one did...

so, yeah, I think she felt she made the right choice...

EDIT: apparently a lot of those grads are bouncing back now...

I graduated in 2007, and have been living independently since 2008 despite the damage Bush did to the job markets.
