Is my German Shepherd Dog mixed? I?

Her name is MJ (Mary Jane). She is about 6-7 months old and weighs about 48 pounds. Her ears rarely stand up, only if she is really excited, running, or heard something really loud. I'll love her with her being a mix or not. (She's my daughter!) but do you think she is or is not pure bred? If she isn't then what do you think she is mixed with?

She might be a poorly breed Shepherd yet still a shepherd. I've seen many dogs that are pure breeds yet they look like mixes. A GSD that looked mixed with a huskie, and a frenchie that looked mixed with pug. Both had AKC papers and everything. If you're really curious you can always take a DNA testing for your dog and find out if she really is a mix or not!

In the pic it's a little hard to tell. The face looks full shepherd, and it is not uncommon for GSD's ears to stand up after the age of seven months, my pup's didn't go fully erect until around eight months old. Her fur looks to be shorter than a german shepherd pup, and the tail isn't fluffy enough. Maybe provide a more up close picture of her and it would be easier to tell?

Her face certainly looks it. Her body looks lean, but that could be a puppy thing. Her coat seems a bit short for a GSD, so I'm thinking maybe she's a mix. As for the ears, they can be wonky for awhile before going up. Lovely girl.

I would say she is full blood. She's still young it's not unusual for their ears to not fully stand up yet.
