If I download music from youtube, will it void my iPhone's warranty?

I listen to a lot of dubstep, and most of the dubstep I listen to on youtube is ONLY available on youtube. I was told by a friend that if you add any music to your iPhone that isn't bought from iTunes or burnt off an official cd that the warranty for your iPhone is void. Is this actually a thing? I'm not jailbreaking the phone, I'm just planning on getting some of my music from youtube and syncing it to my library from iTunes.

No your warranty won't be void. You you can download songs from other place and your warranty is fine. If you jailbreak your phone and take it to the apple store for replacement then your warranty is void or if you took apart your iPhone to repair it yourself then your warranty is void. So you'll be fine.
