Why can't I install Java Script?

I don't know much about computers. Sorry! I have Windows 7 and have tried and tried to install Java Script but it won't go!

I kindly thank you for your help. (If you give me a mean answer, I don't thank you!)

    JavaScript and Java are actually two different things. JavaScript is built into your web browser so it updates whenever your update your web browser.

    Java is download from http://www.java.com/

    You did not need to install java script it is inbuild in iis and quite working fine with your browser for testting

    copy paste the below code to your web browser and hit enter.

    javascript:alert("hi")

    you have to type java script: manually
