I want to buy a laptop and I narrowed down between these two...any opinion? Much thanks!?

The first one is definitely better! Lenovo is a good laptop company. The first answer by bryce is incorrect. 4gb of ram should be plenty unless you plan on multitasking a lot. But never add more ram yourself. Laptops are not meant to be upgraded and you could run into several problems that will cause serious sometimes unfixable issues. Plus it would void the warranty.

Also do not get windows 7! Windows 8 isn't that bad.... Well it's not great but it's not worth the extra money to downgrade. Plus it's a touch screen which works wonderfully with windows 8!

Anyway, the Lenovo is the clear choice!

The first one is better because it's faster and cheaper but I have two suggestions:

1: when you buy the first one, take it apart and add a 16 gb (or higher) ram card to make it Very very fast (to learn how just Google how to change ram card for *insert computer model here*)

2: get a Windows seven filter or whatever they call it because Windows 7 is sooooooooo much better

Definitely the first one. It looks nicer and it's cheaper. It also has a faster processor (i7) compared to the other one which has an i5

The first one, because it looks nicer while the second one looks quite tacky.... Also my friend has the first one and it's very good !
