How will you remember Kane when he retires?

I will remember him as the masked Kane from his early career when he debuted. His debut was big. He broke the steel cage door which had not really been heard of at that time with WWF, he Tombstoned The Undertaker (his brother), and cost him the match. I think that his days as masked Kane were the best and most memorable.

I will still remember him as the unmasked Kane. I think people often forget sometimes how psychotic and dangerous he was. In the mid 2000s, he did some crazy things like Tombstone Linda McMahon, set Jim Ross on fire, electrocute Shane McMahon's manhood. He was pretty sadistic and monstrous when he was unmasked.

While I, too, prefer him masked, I'll remember him when he first unmasked and went out of control such as when he infamously set Jim Ross on fire.
