Why has the WWE Network failed?

Every PPV, Documentaries,TV Shows just for $10 you would think more then 700,000 people would get the Network.

The only reason I can think of why it has failed is because the WWE targets kids and kids don't have jobs to pay for it.

I don't know why people think its a failure. They said they expect a million subscribers by the end of the year...its barely half that and the numbers are what they expected it to be by this point. Plus wwe is getting ready to send it globally.

There is no sign of it being a failure. Budget cuts happen. They have been going on for decades.

Hardcore fans get it, WWE is made up of a lot of casual fans and kids like you have said that either don't follow WWE closely enough or don't have the mony to get it.

WWE doesn't have as many hardcore fans as they thought they did if they was expecting the numbers to be higher

I think it's because there's no originality on there it's always good to have something fresh, and new I think the network needs that.

True for real, The WWE Network wasn't the only one who got the negative fate, when the Sega Network had the same fate in 1994 (well i was not born when the Sega Network was launched at the whole time, though i'm going to be 20 on December 21), you had to get the Sega Genesis hooked up to your cable/satelite box, but that cost up to $13 a month in 1994 or $21 a month in today's standards to just play a game you wanted to play, the Sega Network at the time was also targeting video gamers and kids, The Sega Network went on to be discontinued in 1998 because of the low subscription numbers and likely because of a high price at the whole time. I never know something about the Sega Network until last year btw.

It has me baffled too. They need to put out more talent and some new content. It almost seems like they shove the Network into our faces, saying "Subscribe, log on to the WWEN, blah blah blah.." It gets annoying.
