When will Yahoo restore voting in answers?

I've been gone for more than a year. The reason was simple. Too many children with too many immature questions and remarks. The new format was a giant step backward and there was little if any control over the troll problem. It seems nothing has changed. Voting gave us all the opportunity to be heard, to express our likes and dislikes. Now it seems Yahoo has even taken that away from us. It appears that coming back was a mistake. This website was once an enjoyment to many, now it would seem is just another controlled vehicle for Yahoo.

Never. But they should increase answering limit to maybe 320 a day at least. That gives opportunity to those who really want to get points.

About 2200 a week (after answering full limit) is really nothing compared to how the weekly leaderboards were when voting existed. It's actually less than 1/3rd the points of what it used to be (less than one fourth too in cases like mine)

I really wish they would. It was more representative of Best Answer. I think a lot of Askers give it to their friends or whatever. Some Best Answers don't even make any sense.

It is only going to happen if they change the format because there are too many unresolved quistions, and that hoesn't seem very likely at present

No one knows if voting on answers will be reinstated or not, that is a decision for those who own and operate Yahoo!

I like it how it is.You ask the question,so you choose the best answer.

Possibly never, it changed things but fortunately it eliminated much of the cheating with multiple accounts and friends voting friends best answers when they weren't.

I really wish they would too. Yahoo! Answers, according to something I read on here, is moderated by members of the Yahoo! Answers community. You will easily be able to join the team of moderators only if you don't continue to falsely report answers/questions/comments. I have a feeling the Yahoo! employees forced the moderators to put their purple layout in place.

I think it has gone for good. It had its good and bad points to it.
