going to write greek mythology story need help?
so here's the thing i'm going to write a story based on greek mythology the demigods living in secret are having a really hard time.it seems the titans are recovering and they are having the forces. the demigods need a hero to join them. that's where my protagonist comes in.a not-at-all-smart,kinda-stupid,easily angered guy who looks ridiculous in armor.totally not hero material.the plot here is this:the furies are rebelling, and even though he hates to admit it,Hades needs help.if you guys have any suggestoins to make the story more exciting and maybe a few character names it'll really help

you could make the hero not even want to be a hero, ha hehe, it could be his curse, or his punishment for playing a prank on a teacher, who it turned out happened to be a greek god. Or maybe he totally accidentally kills the last greek hero (pretty easily, like maybe ran over him backwards when neither were looking), and as a consequence he has to take the previous heroes place.
Or most randomly discovered that the chosen one, was chosen by winning the prize from the frozen waffle box.

Too predictable. Make a lot of characters, and keep the reader guessing who is the hero, and just when they are sure who the hero is you kill that hero and shock people, keeps it interesting, rather than the hero wins in the end, too generic.

.... You need to buy some periods. You cannot write new Greek mythology. It is over.
Try a few commas, while you're at it.
Just write it and THEN ask for editing.
