What do I need to light up LED lights?

Question

I'm knew to this so I don't know much. I want to attach led lights to my prop weapon. How do I light up led lights and what do i need. I was thinking of getting prewired led lights so that I don't have to wire them. Please tell me how to light led lights and what I would need (recommendactions are welcomed!).

LED Light Emiting Diode each run on a specific current find the current you have the diode you need and wire together

you will be happy and have the parts and get the best advice at your local RADIO SHACK store == try visiting there in the late afternoon [[ before most people get off work ]] and take your project with you === those guys are friendly and give the good help ..... so even if you are new at this the counter dude will give you the best advice and how to fix-it ............
