Like Padilla's sister, Benita Padilla-Kirkland, I believe that Padilla was flying the aircraft and that he subsequently crashed somewhere on the African continent or in the deep blue sea. Very strange story. It's amazing that in this day and age you can make an object like a plane disappear completely.
